Attempts to Infiltrate Health Centers & Water Treatment facilities as Fake Doctor

The Welfare Region of Varsinais-Finland issued a warning to its staff concerning national security issues after multiple break-ins at water treatment facilities and an attempted infiltration by an individual posing as a doctor.

In the past week, two water treatment plants in Southern Finland experienced break-ins, which are now under police investigation. Additionally, Porvoo Water reported that its Linnamäki backup water intake was breached on two consecutive nights, June 9-10 and 10-11, with these breaches detected by staff each morning.

Adding to the concern, Turku Sanomat reported warnings about a fake doctor attempting to access two health centers. The individual, claiming to be a new doctor, sought to connect his laptop to the health center's network. Fortunately, these health centers were not in the area covered by Varha, the Welfare Region of Varsinais-Finland.
